Cometo Me
2021 | 3-Month Project | Solo Project
Cometo Me is a multisensory VR experience where you play as a comet learning to perceive the universe.
Each planet you encounter embodies a different sensory layer—sight, sound, smell, and touch—forming its own personality and rhythm.
As you orbit and interact, you build relationships with these planets, feeling a growing sense of belonging and attachment.
Yet, when separation comes, the space between them turns into loneliness—echoing how perception and emotion intertwine.

Planet-nality

In Cometo Me, each planet has its own Planet-nality — a sensory personality defined by its unique combination of scent, visual tone, spatial audio, and ambient rhythm.
Rather than treating these as separate design elements, each sensory layer reflects a facet of the planet’s “character”: its emotional temperature, history, and way of communicating with the comet.
Through these Planet-nalities, players learn not only to see or hear, but to feel the emotional ecosystem of each world.

Planetary intimacy

The design of planetary intimacy transforms distance into emotion.
Each planet’s sound and scent are only perceivable within a close range, creating a sense of vulnerability and trust between the comet and the planet.
By approaching, the player doesn’t just explore space — they enter a relationship built on proximity, resonance, and sensory exchange.
