Diablo IV:
Vessel of Hatred
AAA Open-World & Content Design
Contributed to shaping the dark, expansive landscape of Sanctuary for Blizzard Entertainment’s critically acclaimed expansion, Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred. My work centers on technical world-building, high-agency level design, and deep environmental storytelling—crafting atmospheric environments, script-driven world events, and systematic quest pipelines that align with the classic, grim tone of the Diablo universe.

Core Contributions
01
Open-World Scripting & Prototyping
Owned the end-to-end development pipeline for dynamic, in-game world events. Translated high-concept paper pitches into fully interactive functional prototypes, utilizing proprietary visual scripting systems to control wave spawning, phase transitions, and reward triggers under strict memory budgets.
02
Ambient Life & Narrative Integration
Enriched the dark fantasy atmosphere by building detailed micro-narratives for ambient NPCs throughout Sanctuary. Wrote situational dialogues, established intricate animation behaviors tied directly to spatial triggers, and ensured all world elements harmonized perfectly with the dark, seasonal storyline.
